With Tasty Talks&Global Seasons live cooking workshop with a delectable food, few ingredients, easy and quick to make. Our host, Global Seasons, Nil will cook some of her global vegetarian dishes together with you. She is willing to share her easy and delicious recipes to shorten your time in the kitchen and ease your daily routine of cooking.
If you want to cook together with me, be prepared advance with below ingredients. Here is menu (serves 4-6 people):
1. Borscht Soup (vegetarian) (without sour cream, it is vegan)
4 medium cooked beets 2 medium raw diced potatoes 2 raw diced carrots 1 clove of garlic minced 1 tsp dill (for dressing, and optional) 1 squeezed lemon juice 2 tsp parsley 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp sugar Vegetable broth (substitute with some water) Sour cream (you can go any Eastern European shops.) White flour
If you are vegan, you can omit sour cream.
2. Bulgur Salad (vegan)
2 cups of fine bulgur (called köftelik bulgur in Turkish supermarkets) 5-6 spring onions 2 tbsp parsley 1 tsp fresh mint or a pinch of dry mint Sumac 1 lemon 2 tomatoes Tomato paste Red pepper paste (substitute with extra 1 tbsp of tomato paste, if you do not have it) 2 cloves of garlic Olive oil Pomegranate sauce (easy to find in Turkish supermarket, substitute with sumac if you do not have it) Cumin Black pepper Salt Cayenne pepper (optional)
